These letters came to us via the Florida Keys Down Syndrome Educational
Fund: Dear FKDSET Board of Directors, I would like to sincerely apologize for my tardiness in writing this letter. Without your help Alysia would
probably never have learned to swim. Which we thought was very important for her safety since we live on an island surrounded
by water. It also provides excellent exercise for her muscular development. She also had this fascination with ballet
and with your funding her dream of being a ballerina has become a reality. Alysia is participating in tap as well.
Both of these provide her with the opportunity to interact with other children outside of a school setting as well as stimulate
her mind in remembering different dance moves. Plus it keeps her active and healthier. Me and my would like
to thank you for providing Alysia with all of these opportunities. Without you it would not have been possible. Thank you so much

Dear Florida Keys Down Syndrome Educational Trust,
The support that you have provided
our family has really been quite extraordinary. When our son, Diego, turned three, we were extremely concerned how we
were going to be able to maintain the therapies that had been provided through the Easter Seals. We had watched Diego
make progress but were worried that we would not be able to continue once it was no longer covered by Easter Seals nor by
our insurance. When we first heard about the FKDSET, it all sounded too good to be true. After applying and getting
the approval to continue with the physical therapy, taking swim lessons, gymnastics and now with the support for his chiropractic
therapy, we feel like pinching ourselves just to make sure it is not all a dream. You really have been a dream come
true.
We will always be indebted to ou for the difference you have made in all of our lives.
